UAE Launches Fuel Station Safety And Security Campaign To Promote Safe Refueling Practices

The UAE is currently hosting the sixth National Fuel Station Safety and Security Campaign. This initiative aims to enhance public understanding of safety practices at fuel stations. Organised by the Joint Committee for Security and Safety, it includes partners like the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, ADNOC Distribution, Emarat, and ENOC. The campaign began on July 26, 2025, and will continue until August 31, 2025.

Operating under the slogan ‘Safety is a Commitment, Not a Choice,’ the campaign stresses the importance of following preventive measures at fuel stations. It seeks to educate the public on safety principles and best practices during refueling. This effort aims to protect lives and property while ensuring a safe environment for both workers and customers.

UAE Fuel Station Safety Campaign Launched

This campaign is part of a larger national strategy to promote public safety at critical facilities like fuel stations. These locations have evolved beyond traditional service points into multi-use destinations with retail and entertainment options. As such, there is an increased need for strict adherence to occupational safety standards.

Interactive Workshops and Training

The campaign includes various awareness activities such as interactive workshops, media campaigns, and educational material distribution at fuel stations. Specialised training programmes are also provided for fuel station staff to improve their emergency response skills. These efforts aim to reach a broad audience across key public locations.

Past editions of this campaign have successfully raised public awareness about safety procedures. They have also improved individual compliance significantly. Continuing this initiative for six years highlights the UAE's proactive stance on public security. It reflects a commitment to maintaining a safe environment in all service facilities.

The ongoing campaign underscores the UAE's dedication to achieving high-quality living standards. By embedding a culture of safety in critical facilities, it aligns with the nation's vision of ensuring well-being for its people. This approach contributes to creating a sustainable environment that prioritises public security and safety across various sectors.
