Leaders Urge Adoption Of Accelerated Future Readiness Culture For Sustainable Governance

Huda Al Hashimi, Deputy Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Strategic Affairs, highlighted the importance of the Global Accelerators Dialogue. She noted it as a chance for leaders to unite and create shared visions for the future. Al Hashimi stressed that speeding up goal achievement is essential for progress. This dialogue offers a platform for sharing ideas and best practices in future readiness, while discussing how governments can adopt acceleration in governance.

Dr. Mohammed Al-Kuwaiti, Head of Cybersecurity for the UAE Government, emphasised the role of government accelerators in enhancing cybersecurity. He stated that adopting an accelerated approach is crucial for digital readiness against evolving challenges. "The adoption of an accelerator culture by governments has become a strategic necessity, especially amid increasing technological transformations and the various challenges that accompany them," he said.

Accelerating Future Readiness in Governance

Al-Kuwaiti further explained that government accelerators are not just tools for quick solutions but platforms for innovating models to enhance digital system resilience. He highlighted the importance of international cooperation and knowledge exchange in global cybersecurity efforts. Integrating public and private sector efforts is vital to develop sustainable solutions that keep pace with technological advancements.

The dialogue explored global trends and future opportunities, focusing on sustainable governance. Participants formulated bold visions aligning with evolving global challenges. Six core themes were identified as crucial for shaping future societies. Transformative education will feature personalised systems based on hybrid learning and skills recognition through skill-based curricula.

A health revolution driven by AI-powered smart healthcare is anticipated, delivering precision medicine and preventive care. This requires strong digital infrastructure, cross-sector collaboration, and community-driven innovation. Building a thriving society demands a fair framework achieved through mandatory governance training, civic engagement, ethical technology policies, and inclusive decision-making.

Economic Integration and Technological Advancements

The economic future will be human-centric, AI-powered, and globally integrated. It will prioritise cybersecurity, sustainable growth, and strategic alliances to drive competitiveness. A tech-driven future powered by AI, IoT, and cybersecurity will focus on Public-Private-People Partnerships (PPPPs) ensuring equitable access and digital governance.

Sustainable development will be realised through floating cities powered by circular economies and renewable energy. These cities will redefine climate resilience with AI-driven infrastructure ensuring regional sustainability. Al-Kuwaiti noted significant success in launching international platforms for information sharing to counter cyber threats.

Various partnerships with government and private entities have been established to enhance the cybersecurity ecosystem. These efforts aim to create a secure digital future for all. The dialogue underscored the need for proactive measures in government work to ensure readiness against rapidly evolving challenges.
