FNC Strengthens Parliamentary Ties With Hungary During Official Visit And MoU Signing
Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Defence Affairs, Interior and Foreign Affairs Committee at the Federal National Council (FNC), recently engaged in discussions with Illés Boglárka, State Secretary for Bilateral Relations at Hungary's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. This meeting took place at the ministry's headquarters in Budapest during an official visit by the FNC delegation to Hungary.
Illés Boglárka expressed her appreciation for the FNC delegation's visit, highlighting its significance. She noted that such exchanges between officials from both nations, along with bilateral cooperation agreements, are crucial for enhancing collaboration across various sectors.

Dr. Al Nuaimi emphasised the enduring relationship between the UAE and Hungary. He pointed out that this official visit, led by FNC Speaker Saqr Ghobash, plays a vital role in strengthening parliamentary relations and enhancing existing partnerships between these two friendly nations.
The visit also marked the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Federal National Council and Hungary's National Assembly. A joint statement was issued where both parties stressed their commitment to bolstering bilateral ties and fostering constructive dialogue.
The joint statement also highlighted the importance of parliamentary diplomacy in promoting peace, stability, and sustainable development. It underscored the need for increased consultation on mutual interests to achieve these goals effectively.
Dr. Al Nuaimi further elaborated on the UAE’s dedication to promoting tolerance and coexistence. He mentioned how the Abraham Accords have been instrumental in advancing regional peace and highlighted the UAE’s significant humanitarian efforts globally.
Expanding Cooperation
Boglárka reiterated Hungary’s eagerness to expand its relationship with the UAE across different fields. She acknowledged that such diplomatic engagements are foundational for pushing cooperation towards new horizons.
The UAE's proactive role in regional and international security was also acknowledged by Dr. Al Nuaimi. He emphasised how these efforts contribute significantly to global peace initiatives.
This visit underscores a shared vision for future collaboration between Hungary and the UAE, aiming to foster deeper ties through ongoing dialogue and partnership-building efforts.
