UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Confers First Class Order Of Zayed II On Ten Ambassadors

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has awarded the First Class Order of Zayed II to ten UAE ambassadors. This recognition highlights their significant contributions to enhancing economic and trade ties between the UAE and other nations. The award acknowledges their efforts in attracting investments and boosting exports, underlining the UAE's commitment to fostering international partnerships.

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, presented the awards during the 19th Forum of UAE Ambassadors and Representatives of Missions Abroad. The event was organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and concluded recently. The honoured ambassadors have played crucial roles in strengthening diplomatic relations globally.

The ambassadors receiving this prestigious honour include Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Jaber, serving in Russia; Ahmed Alattar in Germany; Sheikh Nahyan bin Saif Al Nahyan in Saudi Arabia; Yousef Al Otaiba in the USA; Dr. Abdulnasser Jamal Alshaali in India; Mohammed Murad Al Balushi in Azerbaijan; Mohamed Saeed Mohamed Alariqi in Kazakhstan; Mahash Saeed Al Hameli in South Africa; Dr. Matar Hamed Al Neyadi in Kuwait; and Mansour Belhoul Al Falasi in the UK.

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah expressed his gratitude to the UAE President for his steadfast support of diplomatic efforts. He also thanked embassy teams for their dedication to enhancing the UAE’s global reputation. Their work has been instrumental in elevating the country's standing on the international stage.

In a related ceremony, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah honoured six winners of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Excellence Award's fifth edition. Hanan Al Aleeli, former UAE Ambassador to Latvia, received recognition as an Outstanding Head of Mission. Additionally, awards were given to several diplomatic missions for their exemplary service.

The recognised missions include the UAE Embassy in Riyadh, Permanent Mission to the United Nations, Embassies in Buenos Aires and Harare, and Consulate General in Erbil. These entities have demonstrated exceptional performance and commitment to advancing UAE interests abroad.

Distinguished Attendees

The ceremony saw attendance from notable figures such as Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation; Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State; Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of State; Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State; Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State. Senior officials from various departments within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were also present.
