Financial Audit Authority And Judicial Inspection Authority Sign MoU To Enhance Governance And Accountability
The Financial Audit Authority (FAA) and the Judicial Inspection Authority in Dubai have formalised their collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This agreement aims to enhance governance, accountability, and institutional performance through shared efforts. The MoU outlines several areas for cooperation, including the exchange of legal and audit expertise, knowledge sharing, and best practices in oversight and administrative functions.
Joint training programmes will be introduced to boost employee skills at both organisations. Additionally, they will work together on research and studies to improve inspection and audit methods. The partnership also involves technical cooperation, focusing on smart systems and modern technologies like digital analysis and electronic inspection to ensure efficient oversight systems.

Abdulrahman Al Hareb, Director-General of the FAA, signed the MoU with Consular Mohammed Mubarak Al Sabousi, President of Dubai’s Judicial Inspection Authority. Dr. Abdullah Saif Al Sabousi, Secretary-General of the Dubai Judicial Council, along with senior officials from both sides, were present during the signing ceremony.
Al Hareb emphasised that this MoU signifies the Authority’s dedication to promoting good governance principles and fostering partnerships that improve institutional performance. He stated, "Cooperation with the Judicial Inspection Authority marks a milestone towards building a more integrated system based on the exchange of expertise and knowledge. It reinforces confidence in regulatory frameworks, serves the public interest, and ensures the optimal use of public resources."
Al Sabousi highlighted that this agreement is a crucial step in enhancing institutional collaboration between the two entities. It contributes to improving justice and judicial security while developing a more cohesive judicial and oversight framework. He mentioned that this partnership aligns with Dubai’s vision for integrated institutional work.
He further added, "This partnership embodies the vision of the Government of Dubai to establish the foundations of integrated institutional work and reinforce financial and administrative discipline. It supports the quality of government performance and strengthens Dubai’s position as a global benchmark for efficiency, performance excellence, and institutional governance."
The MoU also includes regular coordination through meetings, conferences, and seminars aimed at strengthening mechanisms for effective accountability and sound governance. These efforts are expected to bolster confidence in regulatory frameworks while serving public interests efficiently.
