FIFA Club World Cup Trophy On Display At Trump Tower In New York City

The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 trophy is now on display at Trump Tower in New York City. This public exhibition runs from 8th to 12th July, daily from 10:00 to 17:00 local time. It aims to immerse fans in the tournament's atmosphere, which will culminate on 13th July at MetLife Stadium.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino, Eric Trump of the Trump Organisation, and retired football star Ronaldo attended the launch ceremony. Infantino highlighted that this initiative aligns with FIFA’s goal of uniting people through football. He mentioned that the tournament has drawn over 2.26 million fans from 168 countries.

Infantino announced a new FIFA office opening at Trump Tower, expanding its presence in the US. This office will complement existing operations in Miami, focusing on legal and regulatory matters for both the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 and the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Eric Trump expressed gratitude for hosting this international event in New York. He stated that the Trump Organisation is proud to facilitate such a significant occasion. Ronaldo also commended the fan experience surrounding the tournament.

This week, MetLife Stadium will host three major matches, including tonight's semi-final between Fluminense and Chelsea. Tomorrow, Paris Saint-Germain will face Real Madrid. The final match is set for 13th July at 15:00 Eastern Time.

Infantino praised US federal and local authorities for their support in ensuring the tournament's success. He emphasised that maintaining a strong presence in host cities is crucial for FIFA’s commitment to its tournaments.

The global nature of this competition is evident as players from 72 nations have participated, with goals scored by teams from every continent. This reflects FIFA’s mission to promote peace through football by bringing diverse communities together.
