FHS World 2025 Awards Recognise Leaders Transforming Middle East Hospitality Sector
FHS World 2025 acknowledged significant contributions in the hospitality sector by awarding four FHS Awards to leaders reshaping tourism and hotels in the Middle East. These awards celebrated achievements in lifetime contribution, leadership, innovation, and future impact. The recipients were Abdullah Ahmed Al Moosa, Laura Eggleton, Veronica Asthana, and Fadi Alaseri.
Abdullah Ahmed Al Moosa received the Lifetime Achievement Award for his extensive work over five decades in hospitality and real estate through ARENCO Group. His company operates across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, India, and Oman with a portfolio exceeding 6,000 keys under brands like Hilton and Marriott.

The Impact Leader Award was given to Laura Eggleton under the FHS Women Power initiative. As General Manager of Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown, she was recognised for promoting diversity and inclusion within the industry. Her efforts have significantly influenced how diversity is approached in hospitality.
Veronica Asthana was honoured with the Future Leader Award for her innovative contributions to global hospitality early in her career. This award was presented in partnership with EHL Hospitality Business School, highlighting her role as a future leader in the industry.
Commitment to Education and Talent Development
The Leadership Award went to Fadi Alaseri for his work in talent development and education at Red Sea Global. This award was organised with the International Society of Hospitality Consultants to acknowledge his efforts in nurturing talent within the sector.
Jonathan Worsley, Chairman of The Bench and organiser of FHS World, stated that these awards celebrate visionary figures driving progress in hospitality. He noted that marking the summit's 20th anniversary underscores its ongoing role in recognising excellence and inspiring innovation.
