This supports our plans to further expand the use of artificial intelligence technologies to ensure the ongoing improvement of operational efficiency, accelerate tax procedures, and maintain the highest levels of data and information security."

The FTA is highlighting five key AI-driven tax initiatives during GITEX. The first initiative involves using AI and machine learning for data analysis to support tax compliance. Another initiative introduces "FTAgpt," an internal chat search engine that uses generative AI technology to answer tax-related questions for FTA employees.
Additionally, AI is being used to automate clarification requests through Robotic Process Automation (RPA). The virtual assistant TARA has also been updated to provide direct answers regarding tax procedures and legislation using AI technologies. Lastly, a Proof of Concept for comprehensive AI Strategy initiatives will be showcased.
The FTA's participation underscores its dedication to adopting cutting-edge technological systems in taxation. It aims to strengthen collaboration with strategic partners across public and private sectors. At its stand, the FTA will display new projects in artificial intelligence alongside updates on existing initiatives.
During GITEX Global 2025, the FTA will present its future-ready vision and upcoming plans in digital transformation and artificial intelligence. These align with the UAE Government Strategy aimed at transitioning all services into smart digital solutions. Innovative models will be shown to demonstrate government leadership in meeting customer expectations efficiently.
Zero Bureaucracy Digital Programme
The FTA will also highlight efforts under the second phase of the Zero Bureaucracy Digital Programme during GITEX Global 2025. This phase focuses on introducing facilitations, eliminating unnecessary procedures, and reducing service completion times. These efforts are part of a national programme aimed at achieving global leadership in government operations.
A series of workshops and presentations will be organised by the FTA during GITEX Global 2025. These sessions aim to showcase tax initiatives and digital systems while highlighting their benefits in providing services that meet customer expectations. Attendees' feedback will be considered for ongoing development plans.
