UAE-Based Farnek Appoints Julian Khalil As Managing Director To Drive Sustainable Facilities Management

Julian Khalil has been named the new Managing Director of Farnek, an Emirati company known for its smart and green facilities management services. In this role, Khalil is tasked with overseeing the company's daily operations and steering its strategic direction. His responsibilities include executing corporate strategies, managing operational activities, spearheading strategic business development, and ensuring the overall financial health of Farnek Services.

Khalil's promotion comes after an impressive 13-year tenure with Farnek, during which he demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment. Starting as Deputy Manager of the cleaning division in 2011, Khalil quickly climbed the ranks within the company, showcasing his talent and potential. His journey saw him becoming Division Manager in 2013, Director of Soft Services by December 2015, and eventually ascending to the roles of Senior Director of Security and Soft Services in 2021 and VP Operations just last year.

Group CEO Markus Oberlin praised Khalil's longstanding dedication and contribution to Farnek, stating, "After 13 years of dedication and commitment, Julian's promotion is well-deserved and highlights our strategy to recognise, develop and reward talent as well as our policy to promote from within." Khalil, a German national, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role. He graduated from the University of Hohenheim in Stuttgart, Germany, with a bachelor's degree in international business and economics in 2010. His academic background, combined with his extensive experience at Farnek, equips him well for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
