Expo Centre Sharjah (ECS) has unveiled its dynamic event schedule for the last quarter of 2024, highlighting Sharjah's economic, trade, tourism, and cultural significance. The centre will host 10 major trade exhibitions and events at its primary venue in Sharjah and affiliate centres in Khorfakkan and Al Dhaid. This initiative underscores ECS's pivotal role in enhancing the emirate's exhibition and conference industry while supporting key business sectors that drive Sharjah's diverse economy.

Expo Centre Sharjah is set to host a variety of international exhibitions in the fourth quarter of the year, catering to multiple sectors such as trade and culture. Among the notable upcoming events are the 54th Watch and Jewellery Middle East Show, the International Education Show, and the Sharjah International Book Fair.

Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and Expo Centre Sharjah, highlighted that focusing on the exhibitions sector aligns with H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi's vision for sustainable growth. This focus supports efforts to diversify the emirate’s economy. Al Owais noted that the UAE’s exhibitions and conferences sector is experiencing rapid growth, solidifying its position as a global business hub.

Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, stated that the Centre has successfully increased its visitor numbers to over 2.5 million annually.
