The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, part of Dubai Chambers, has initiated a global campaign for Expand North Star 2025. This event, organised by the Dubai World Trade Centre and hosted by the Chamber, is set to occur at Dubai Harbour from 12th to 15th October. It aims to be a major gathering for startups and investors worldwide.
The promotional campaign began in the United States, covering cities like Las Vegas, Phoenix, and San Francisco. Over 200 representatives from startups, investors, and tech firms participated. This provided a platform for networking and exploring opportunities within Dubai’s digital economy.

A startup pitch competition was part of the campaign, featuring 20 innovative companies. DataBiologics and Nanowear emerged victorious. They secured fully funded participation in Expand North Star 2025, allowing them access to new markets through this event.
Additionally, the campaign included 13 high-level meetings with key business ecosystem partners. These meetings involved venture capital firms and unicorn companies, aiming to strengthen ties between Dubai and the US in the digital economy sector.
The United States marks the first stop in this global campaign to emphasise Expand North Star 2025's importance. The event is a crucial gathering for startups, innovators, investors, entrepreneurs, and business leaders looking to seize growth opportunities in Dubai's digital economy.
The previous edition in 2024 saw record-breaking participation with over 1,800 startups and more than 1,200 investors from 100 countries. These investors managed assets exceeding US$1 trillion. Additionally, 65 unicorn companies with a combined market value of over $400 billion participated.
