EIOC 2024 is organised by INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions, part of INDEX Holding. The event is supported by key entities such as the Dubai Health Authority, the Oncology Nursing Society, and others. These collaborations have transformed EIOC into a global hub for multidisciplinary specialists, enhancing oncology education and collaboration within the UAE.
A notable feature of EIOC 2024 is the Young Leaders in Oncology initiative. It has already attracted submissions from 13 countries, paving the way for future innovations in oncology care.
Attendees will have opportunities to engage with global experts through dedicated sessions covering topics like breast cancer, lung cancer, immuno-oncology, gastrointestinal oncology, and molecular tumours. The event promises interactive discussions and educational workshops led by international experts.
Dr. Shaheenah Dawood, President of the EIOC Conference, expressed her enthusiasm: "As we convene for EIOC 2024, we reflect on the significant advancements in the UAE’s fight against cancer, driven by proactive government strategies aimed at reducing cancer rates. We are witnessing meaningful progress in this battle."
