EtihadWE Highlights Seven Innovations Enhancing Customer Well-being

Etihad Water and Electricity (EtihadWE), renowned for its commitment to sustainable water and electricity services, recently showcased its innovative initiatives at the Innovate to Thrive exhibition. This event, part of the UAE Innovation Month 2024, took place from 15th to 16th February and was organized by Fujairah Municipality. The exhibition attracted attention from Mohammed Saeed Al Dhanhani, Director of the Emiri Court in Fujairah, and other senior officials, who visited the EtihadWE booth to learn about the company's projects aimed at supporting clean energy transitions, achieving climate neutrality, and enhancing customer service quality.

Yousif Ahmed Al Ali, CEO of EtihadWE, emphasized the UAE's role as a global leader in innovation, supported by the nation's leadership and implemented across various sectors. The Innovate to Thrive exhibition served as a platform for EtihadWE to highlight its innovative technologies designed to optimize resource use, protect the environment, and improve public services. Among the showcased innovations were a sophisticated sensor for water tanks that detects changes in water quality and automatically shuts off valves to prevent contamination, and remote inspection devices for high-pressure pipelines.

In addition to these technological advancements, EtihadWE presented its use of the ChatGPT artificial intelligence platform for customer inquiries and an advanced visual communication system that allows customers to identify and access services remotely. The company also displayed initiatives focused on clean energy, such as converting golf carts to solar power with added safety features like fire and gas leak detection, as well as air quality monitoring systems. Efforts are underway to further enhance these vehicles with kinetic energy power sources. Furthermore, EtihadWE introduced a mobile charging vehicle designed to assist electric vehicles in need of urgent power on the roads.

This year's participation marks EtihadWE's continued engagement with innovation exhibitions during UAE Innovation Month in the Northern Emirates, following its involvement in last year's Dibba Innovates exhibition organized by Dibba Al Fujairah Municipality. Through these initiatives, EtihadWE demonstrates its dedication to leveraging innovative solutions for environmental protection and improved customer well-being.
