Etihad Water And Electricity Announces Integration With WAYN Digital P.O. Box At GITEX Global 2025
Etihad Water and Electricity (EtihadWE) has integrated with WAYN, the UAE’s Digital P.O. Box, during GITEX Global 2025. This move allows EtihadWE to send customer bills and payment alerts through a secure digital platform. As the first utility company on WAYN, EtihadWE ensures that customers receive their bills directly in their personal WAYN account, known as a ‘WAYN’ ID.
Each ‘WAYN’ ID acts as a permanent digital mailbox linked to UAE Pass, offering residents a secure channel for official communications from government bodies and service providers. Unlike traditional mail, WAYN guarantees messages only from verified organisations, reducing spam or fraud risks. This initiative marks a significant step in enhancing customer experience by providing a reliable communication method.
