Etihad Unveils Bespoke Livery To Celebrate 20 Years Of Service And Unity

Etihad has unveiled its latest bespoke livery, celebrating the intricate beauty of unity through line-style art. This design reflects the rich history and essence of the UAE's national airline, developed over two decades as a key brand in Abu Dhabi.

The new livery adorns one of the A321neos recently added to Etihad's fleet, featuring iconic landmarks from Abu Dhabi. The decal wraps around both sides of the fuselage in Arabic and English, symbolising the airline's Emirati identity and future ambitions.

Etihad's 20th Year Special Livery

Etihad is integrating six A321neos into its operations to enhance its growing network and frequency. These aircraft are equipped with advanced CFM LEAP 1A engines, which provide up to 20 per cent more efficiency and reduced emissions compared to similar engines.

John Wright, Etihad’s Chief Operations and Guest Officer, remarked on the rapid integration of these aircraft: "We are pleased to have brought in this fleet so quickly after committing the aircraft in December last year. With constrained aircraft deliveries worldwide, this fleet is an important bridge for our growth plans as we anticipate the arrival of over 20 new aircraft in 2025."

The livery marks Etihad's 20th anniversary of delivering exceptional service. Antonoaldo Neves, Etihad’s Chief Executive Officer, stated, "The livery marks our 20th year of delivering remarkable service, fulfilling our mission to deliver extraordinary experiences inspired by our Emirati identity."

Neves further added, "It reflects the journey we have been on, and it also sets the tone for our future as we give flight to our ambition, to be the airline that everyone wants to fly."

Deployment Across Routes

The newly liveried A321neo will serve various routes within India and the Middle East. This deployment will showcase Etihad's new design across its network, enhancing visibility among guests.

Wright highlighted the efficiency of Etihad's teams: "An airline normally takes up to two years to bring a new airframe and engine type into operation, and it is a testament to the speed and flexibility of our Etihad teams and our partners that we have been able to commission them safely and compliantly within seven months."

This strategic move underscores Etihad's commitment to growth while maintaining operational excellence. The introduction of these advanced aircraft aligns with their broader plans for expansion by 2025.

The new livery not only celebrates past achievements but also signifies a forward-looking vision for Etihad. It embodies their dedication to providing extraordinary experiences inspired by their heritage.
