Ethraa Career Fair To Feature 60 Financial Institutions Aiming To Enhance Emiratisation Efforts

The Emirates Institute of Finance (EIF), in partnership with the Central Bank of the UAE and other key organisations, will host the 8th Ethraa Career Fair on 29th May. This event aims to attract young Emirati talents and boost their presence in the financial sector by offering numerous job opportunities and training programmes.

Eng. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Chairman of the Emirati Human Resources Development Council, highlighted that the fair is a practical step towards building a knowledge-based economy. He stated, "Investing in Emirati human capital lays a strong foundation for sustainable development and long-term progress. This aligns with the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda, while reinforcing the UAE’s position as a premier global destination for expertise and talent."

The Ethraa Career Fair will feature participation from 60 entities, including banks, fintech firms, insurance companies, and more. The event is part of the Ethraa Programme, which aims to create approximately 1,900 jobs annually for Emiratis. It also includes workshops and career guidance to equip job seekers with essential skills for the evolving financial market.

Saif Al Dhaheri, Assistant Governor for Banking Operations at the Central Bank of the UAE, emphasised that this fair embodies the UAE leadership’s vision. He noted that it empowers a new generation of qualified Emiratis capable of shaping the future financial landscape. The commitment to national talent competitiveness is evident through high-quality training opportunities provided by EIF.

Raghda Fatme from Al-Futtaim Group expressed their dedication to supporting Emirati talent development. She said, "As a company that was founded in the UAE over 90 years ago, Al-Futtaim is deeply committed to the nation’s progress and prosperity. We believe that investing in Emirati talent is not only a responsibility but a strategic imperative for building a sustainable, future-ready workforce."
