Institut Marquès IVF Centre Expands To Abu Dhabi With Ethmar International Holding
Ethmar International Holding is forming a partnership with FutureLife group to open an Institut Marquès assisted reproductive technology centre in Abu Dhabi by 2026. The project aims to support the emirate’s role as a global healthcare hub and expand access to advanced fertility treatments for local, regional and international patients.
The move comes as infertility affects around one in six adults worldwide, according to the World Health Organisation. By adding a specialised fertility centre, Abu Dhabi will widen its medical tourism offer and strengthen high-value healthcare services, which remain priorities within the emirate’s long-term health strategy and wider economic agenda.

Institut Marquès has more than 100 years of history in assisted reproduction and is recognised for strong success rates in in vitro fertilisation. The organisation operates advanced embryology laboratories and applies multidisciplinary care, with about 200 professionals, including gynaecologists, embryologists and psychologists, supporting patients throughout treatment.
The provider reports IVF success rates reaching up to 86 percent, placing Institut Marquès among the leading clinics internationally. Existing centres are located in Barcelona, Sabadell, Rome and Milan. The Abu Dhabi facility will transfer this European clinical experience and technology to the UAE, while aligning with local regulations and national healthcare objectives.
The new assisted reproductive technology centre will be embedded within Abu Dhabi’s healthcare ecosystem, working under the emirate’s regulatory framework and quality standards. Patients are expected to receive a full range of fertility services, from diagnosis to advanced treatment, supporting both residents and visitors seeking care in the UAE capital.
