Estonia is showcasing its technological prowess at GITEX Global 2024 in Dubai, from 14th to 18th October. Trade Estonia, a part of Enterprise Estonia, is leading the country's participation by highlighting advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Transformation, Internet of Things (IoT), and Cybersecurity. These innovations are impacting global markets and transforming industries worldwide.

Estonia's presence at GITEX aims to explore partnerships in IoT, AI integration, and smart city projects. This effort strengthens ties between Estonia and the UAE while contributing to the global digital economy. Erkki Keldo, Estonia's Minister of Economy and Industry, underscores the nation's commitment to digital innovation and leadership in digital governance.

Erkki Keldo will also be a keynote speaker at a panel discussion titled 'Fostering International Collaboration in the Digital Economy' on October 15th. Seven pioneering Estonian companies are unveiling digital solutions aimed at reshaping global industries. Among them, 5.0 Robotics and KUKA Robotics are collaborating to introduce a revolutionary product for smart production systems. This AI-driven technology exemplifies Industry 5.0 automation, making advanced production solutions accessible globally.

CybExer Technologies is delivering advanced Cyber Ranges and digital twin environments through collaborations across the Gulf region. Their hosting of the Cyber Battle of the Emirates showcases tailored cybersecurity solutions for organisations. Nortal, with regional offices in Saudi Arabia, presents its work with governments and Fortune 500 companies.

Bamboo Group introduces Smart Locks Pro, integrating access management and environmental sensors used in Saudi Arabia's smart parking sectors. Lean showcases an upgraded Business Management System DNA with AI tools and a Cybersecurity Analysis module to enhance business efficiency across various industries.

Unlimited Media focuses on expanding partnerships in IoT and AI sectors, building on media solutions like their collaboration with Etisalat. OMNICOMM displays accurate fuel management solutions for fleet providers in over 113 countries, ensuring optimised operational efficiency.

"Estonia is well known for its e-governance solutions," stated Erkki Keldo. "It is in our mutual interest to expand bilateral relations with the UAE, especially in growing markets like IoT and smart city initiatives." Estonia is recognised as one of the world’s foremost digital nations due to its strong track record in employing advanced technologies in government services. Currently, 99 percent of these services are available online to citizens and foreigners alike, with full digitalisation targeted by year-end.
