ERC's Al Khair Medical Week Provides Essential Healthcare In Mukalla, Yemen

In a significant medical outreach effort, the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) successfully concluded the Al Khair Medical Week at the Al Mahwar Medical Centre in Rabwat Khalaf, Mukalla, Hadramaut Governorate, Yemen. This initiative, held from 18th to 25th March under the patronage of Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi, Governor of Hadramaut, and in coordination with the Office of the Ministry of Public Health and Population in Hadramaut Coast, saw a remarkable turnout. Approximately 1,000 individuals from the local population benefited from a range of medical services provided free of charge.

The event was marked by the presence of specialist and consultant doctors who attended to the healthcare needs of the community. Humaid Rashid Al Shamsi, Advisor for Development and International Cooperation and ERC Representative in Yemen, expressed his satisfaction with the success of this vital medical event. He emphasized the ERC's commitment to continuing its efforts in delivering health and humanitarian aid to enhance healthcare services in areas deprived of adequate medical facilities and support individuals facing difficulties in accessing necessary treatment and healthcare.
