EPA And Aramex Collaborate To Enhance Logistics Support For UAE Publishers
The Emirates Publishers Association (EPA) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Aramex Emirates LLC. This agreement aims to provide member publishers with specialised logistics services, enhancing their publication distribution and helping manage business costs. This collaboration supports EPA's mission to sustain the book industry and foster the creative economy in the UAE.
By partnering with both government and private sectors, the EPA seeks to advance publishers' growth and support their creative projects. The agreement ensures that Aramex offers exclusive deals on express transport solutions and shipping services, addressing logistics needs efficiently for EPA publishers.

This partnership complements "Menassah Distribution Company" by improving distribution mechanisms for Emirati publishers. It aims to make books accessible at local and international book fairs and online platforms. The focus is on adding value to book distribution efforts, benefiting both authors and readers.
Rashid Al Kous, Executive Director of EPA, highlighted the initiative's goal to facilitate local and international publication transportation. He noted it would reduce operating costs, boost Emirati books' global presence, and enhance competitiveness in the publishing market.
Al Kous stated, "We are committed to supporting our publishers in every possible way and utilising all available resources to achieve our vision of enhancing the publishing sector's contribution to the cultural, social, and economic development of the UAE. Our partnership with Aramex is part of these ambitious efforts, and we look forward to it making a positive and effective contribution to the growth of our members and the development of their businesses."
Tarek Abuyaghi, General Manager of Aramex, expressed his enthusiasm for collaborating with Emirati publishers. He said, "By collaborating closely with Emirati publishers, we aim to enhance the accessibility of their remarkable works and contribute to the growth of the UAE's creative economy. Together, we can ensure that these valuable publications reach a wider audience, both locally and internationally."
This strategic alliance between EPA and Aramex is expected to significantly impact Emirati publishers by streamlining logistics processes. It will also help them reach broader audiences while maintaining cost efficiency in their operations.
