ENOC Group Achieves AED 395 Million In Energy Efficiency Savings Over The Past Decade

ENOC Group has achieved significant energy savings through its Energy & Resource Management (E&RM) activities. From 2014 to 2024, the Group saved AED395 million in energy costs and reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 703,840 metric tonnes. These efforts are part of ENOC's commitment to sustainable economic growth and environmental responsibility.

In 2024, ENOC's business units made notable progress in energy efficiency. The ENOC Processing Company (EPCL) led these initiatives, saving AED 2,314,669 through various projects. The Retail unit also played a crucial role by integrating Solar PV LED Lights in its operations, resulting in savings of AED 3,115,294. Additionally, ENOC’s Corporate Real Estate (CRE) and Emirates Gas contributed savings of AED 539,448 and AED 139,409 respectively.

ENOC's dedication to sustainability is reflected in its diverse initiatives focused on water conservation, renewable energy, and energy efficiency. These include the implementation of Solar PV systems across facilities and the installation of LED lighting throughout operations. Advanced water management solutions are also part of their strategy.

The Group prioritises high-quality green procurement standards that significantly reduce energy demand and minimise emissions across the supply chain. This approach aligns with ENOC's broader sustainability strategy and highlights its proactive stance on resource management and environmental protection.

As part of its long-term environmental commitment, ENOC participated in Earth Hour 2025 by turning off non-essential lights at its headquarters and other facilities on March 22nd from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM. This global event underscores the importance of collective action in addressing environmental challenges.
