Emirati Human Resources Development Council Partners With Postal Sector For Enhanced Emiratisation Opportunities
The Emirati Human Resources Development Council (EHRDC) in Dubai has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Regulatory and Licensing Sector of the Postal Sector Regulatory Committee. This collaboration aims to boost Emiratisation within companies in the Courier, Express, and Postal (CEP) sector. The partnership seeks to create more job opportunities for Emiratis and facilitate their integration into the private sector workforce.
The MoU was formalised by Abdulaziz Al Falahi, Emiratisation Recruitment Superintendent at EHRDC, and Mohamed Khalid bin Sulaiman, Chief Regulatory and Licensing Officer at the Regulatory and Licensing Sector. Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Deputy Chairman of EHRDC and Director-General of the Human Resources Department in Dubai, was also present during the signing.

This agreement focuses on enabling Emirati nationals to access a network of over 160 private companies within the CEP sector. It aims to provide diverse career opportunities through employment initiatives, comprehensive training programs, and professional development schemes. These efforts are designed to empower Emirati cadres, ensuring they are well-prepared to succeed in the private sector while contributing to national economic goals.
Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Chairman of EHRDC, stated that this MoU strengthens efforts to accelerate Emiratisation in the private sector. He noted that expanding opportunities within postal and express delivery companies allows Emirati talents to enhance their skills and thrive in competitive business environments.
Mohamed Khalid bin Sulaiman highlighted that this MoU aligns with broader efforts to connect CEP sector companies with Emirati talents. The primary objective is to support national Emiratisation efforts while benefiting private companies by leveraging the skills and efficiency of Emirati cadres. This collaboration reaffirms the Committee's commitment to developing Emirati leaders ready for innovation in postal and logistics sectors through workshops with government partners.
The initiative reflects a concerted effort by both parties to align with UAE’s national goals by creating more opportunities for local talent. By integrating them into the workforce, it supports their growth within competitive business environments.
This strategic partnership is expected to significantly contribute towards achieving UAE's vision of enhancing local workforce participation in key economic sectors. Through dedicated programs and initiatives, it aims at preparing Emiratis for leadership roles while fostering innovation across industries.
