Partnership Between Emirati HR Council And KPMG Aims To Enhance Emiratisation
The Emirati Human Resources Development Council in Dubai has joined forces with KPMG Lower Gulf, marking a significant step towards bolstering Emiratisation across various sectors. This collaboration is formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), highlighting a shared dedication to integrating UAE nationals into the workforce, thereby supporting the country's ambitions for a diversified and sustainable economy.
Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Deputy Chairman of the Council and the Director-General of the Human Resources Department in Dubai, alongside Emilio Pera, CEO and Senior Partner of KPMG Lower Gulf, signed the MoU. This agreement is a testament to their joint commitment to creating employment opportunities, offering extensive training programmes, career guidance, and facilitating the transfer of expertise crucial for developing a skilled Emirati workforce.
Under this MoU, KPMG Lower Gulf pledges to enhance its workforce with Emirati talent through job opportunities tailored to meet the UAE's strategic Emiratisation goals. Additionally, it commits to providing comprehensive training programmes aimed at qualifying and developing Emirati cadres. The partnership also focuses on offering career guidance and counselling to help UAE nationals align their career paths with national objectives.
This partnership is not just about employment but also involves transferring knowledge and training by granting access to qualified experts who will contribute to the mentoring of citizens. It encompasses involvement in community initiatives and providing practical training opportunities for students at local universities and institutes.
Eng. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Chairman of the Council, emphasized the importance of this partnership: "This MoU with KPMG Lower Gulf represents an empowering partnership towards fulfilling the vision of our wise leadership for developing a skilled Emirati workforce ready to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
