The 2025 Abu Dhabi International Boat Show (ADIBS) is a vibrant event that merges the love for the sea with innovation. Situated on the serene shores of the UAE's capital, it serves as a platform for Emirati entrepreneurs to showcase their products. This event is not limited to luxury boats and advanced navigation technology; it also highlights local businesses aiming to reach a broader audience.
Success stories abound in the exhibition halls, where innovative Emirati brands display their diverse offerings. From fishing gear and perfumes to gourmet food and eyewear, each stand narrates a journey from a simple idea to a thriving business. These enterprises are determined to compete with major brands in the local market, supported by community backing.

Chaimee Attar, manager of Crispy & Healthy, has reimagined traditional Emirati cuisine with a modern twist. She stated: "We have developed traditional Emirati dishes and packaged them in healthy containers, and we have created a local alternative to tuna using fish such as kanad. We also rely on olive oil as a natural preservative, free from any chemicals. We are grateful to ADNEC for supporting us to participate in this exhibition, and our goal is to take our products to a global audience."
Alyaka Almehairbi founded Saltara Del Mar, which began on Instagram and evolved into a brand offering stylish clothing with rapid delivery. Ilka expressed: "We started from a simple idea and now we meet our customers’ needs with speed and quality, proving that creativity has no limits." She added that although this is her first time at the show, she plans to return next year.
Saeed Al Saadi's Anchor Eyewear is another highlight at ADIBS. His passion for eyewear has materialised into products proudly displayed at the exhibition. This debut marks his ambition to expand locally by offering an Emirati product that competes with global brands.
Zayed Al Hosani of Styad Trading combines captivating scents with contemporary style. His creations celebrate local identity while appealing to today's youth. He remarked: "This exhibition is the gateway we have long awaited for, to broaden our reach and strengthen the presence of Emirati brands."
