Emirati Day For Education Underlines UAE President's Dedication To Educational Excellence

The UAE has designated 28th February as 'Emirati Day for Education,' a decision made by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This move underscores the importance of education and knowledge in societal growth and sustainable development. Sheikh Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Council, highlighted this initiative's significance.

Sheikh Abdulla noted that this day reflects the vision of investing in human capital to enhance the UAE's global competitiveness. The choice of 28th February is symbolic, marking the graduation of the first batch of teachers from UAE University in 1982.
