Al Marri announced the launch of the Unlimited Smart Travel service at Dubai International Airport’s First and Business Class lounges. This AI-driven system enhances identity verification through facial recognition. It increases traveller throughput from one to ten individuals simultaneously and reduces service steps for smoother airport processing.

Dr. Caroline A. Jones from the University of Warwick highlighted that the conference provides a practical model for integrating technology into education and public services. The event underscores Dubai's role as a leader in smart governance and innovation.

The conference will conclude with the launch of the AI Innovation Lab, led by Al Marri. Additionally, three strategic cooperation agreements will be signed, further solidifying Dubai's commitment to institutional excellence.

Among those present were Major General Obaid Muhair bin Suroor and senior representatives from leading academic institutions. Their participation highlights the collaborative effort across various sectors to enhance educational quality through digital transformation.

Al Marri stated, "Artificial intelligence is no longer a theoretical luxury—it is a practical necessity. We are placing it in the service of education, of humanity, and of a nation that deserves the best." His remarks emphasise AI's critical role in advancing educational frameworks.

The remaining sessions are scheduled at the Directorate’s headquarters in Al Jafiliya. The event also features more than 200 speakers, including representatives from tech giants like Microsoft and Google.

This gathering not only showcases cutting-edge research but also fosters dialogue among key stakeholders about future trends in education technology. It reinforces Dubai’s position as a hub for smart governance and institutional excellence.
