Emirates Partners With Airbus To Implement Skywise S.FP+ And Core X3 For Fleet Maintenance
Emirates has entered into an agreement with Airbus to enhance its fleet management. This collaboration involves the use of Airbus's Skywise Fleet Performance+ (S.FP+) and Core X3 analytics platform. These tools aim to improve operational efficiency and safety for Emirates' Airbus A380 and A350 aircraft.
The agreement was formalised by Ahmed Safa, Head of Emirates Engineering, and Laurent Negre, Vice President of Customer Services at Airbus Africa and Middle East. The partnership focuses on leveraging advanced predictive maintenance and fleet health monitoring solutions.

By adopting the S.FP+ solution, Emirates aims to boost aircraft dispatch reliability. The platform allows real-time monitoring of aircraft performance and health data. This capability helps identify potential issues during flights and plan maintenance actions efficiently during turnarounds.
Ahmed Safa expressed the airline's commitment to operational excellence: "As a highly efficient, customer-centric operation, Emirates is always looking at ways to leverage leading-edge technologies that improve operational reliability and punctuality, minimise unscheduled downtime and ensure our fleet operates at the highest standards, ultimately elevating the customer experience."
The integration of these advanced technologies supports strategic decision-making based on data insights. Emirates Engineering teams can transform traditional maintenance activities into streamlined processes. This approach optimises time spent in the skies while maintaining high standards for their fleet.
Laurent Negre highlighted the benefits of this collaboration: "We are proud to strengthen our collaboration with Emirates through the implementation of Skywise Fleet Performance+ and Core X3. These solutions will enhance fleet performance and reliability, reduce downtime, and support operational efficiency passengers will benefit from, too."
This partnership underscores Emirates' dedication to using innovative solutions for improving its operations. By focusing on predictive maintenance, the airline aims to minimise unscheduled downtime while enhancing customer satisfaction through reliable service.
