Future Tech Leaders Programme Launched For UAE Nationals By Emirates Institute Of Finance

The Emirates Institute of Finance (EIF), recognized as a regional authority in banking and finance training, has launched its Future Tech Leaders Programme. This initiative, spanning 12 weeks, is dedicated to nurturing leadership and technological proficiency among UAE nationals in the financial sector. With a focus on Artificial Intelligence, Payments Technology, and Site Reliability Engineering, the programme aims to equip 100 participants with the skills necessary to thrive in technology roles within banking and finance.

Noura Alblooshi, General Manager of EIF, highlighted the programme's alignment with the UAE's sustainability goals and the critical role of technology in addressing future challenges within the financial sector. The Future Tech Leaders Programme is structured to foster an understanding of emerging technologies and their application in competitive markets, ensuring a sustainable financial landscape.

Tech Leadership Programme for UAE Locals

The programme is meticulously divided into three phases to cover various aspects of technology integration and business acumen. The initial phase introduces participants to the significance of technology in financial services, followed by a phase dedicated to enhancing business and finance skills. The final phase focuses on the business impact of technology, encouraging participants to leverage tech-driven solutions for growth and innovation.

Participants have the opportunity to specialize in key areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Payments Technology, and Site Reliability Engineering, tailoring their learning experience to their interests. Prestigious partnerships and certifications from institutions like Oxford University, Oxford Said Business School, Massachusetts Institute of Technology Professional Education, Columbia Engineering, and Wiley Edge underscore the programme's commitment to excellence.

The programme boasts participation from 24 leading financial institutions and insurance companies. Notable participants include the Central Bank of the UAE, Daman- National Health Insurance Company, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, and EmiratesNBD among others. This collaboration underscores the industry's support for developing Emirati talent in technology roles within the financial sector.

Training sessions are conducted in person at EIF's Dubai and Abu Dhabi campuses from Monday to Thursday. Fridays are reserved for immersive hands-on projects and personalized monitoring and assessment activities, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience for all participants.

The Future Tech Leaders Programme by EIF represents a significant step towards addressing the need for skilled technology professionals in the UAE's banking and finance sector.
