Emirates Franchise Convened Its Second Meeting Of 2025 To Enhance Sector Development And Economic Growth
The Emirates Franchise recently conducted its second meeting for 2025, led by Noor Al Tamimi. She is the Chairperson of Emirates Franchise and a Board Member of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Representatives from various emirates participated in this gathering. The discussion focused on the operational plan, finalising bylaws, and setting strategic priorities to boost the national economy.
Board members, along with the Executive Committee and working groups from each emirate, reviewed progress on the organisation’s agenda. They highlighted key outcomes from recent discussions, which included identifying challenges within the sector and proposing solutions. Actionable recommendations were offered to align UAE franchising with global standards.

During the meeting, emphasis was placed on driving innovation and boosting competitiveness. Creating a platform for collaboration among entrepreneurs, franchisees, and stakeholders was also a priority. This approach aims to promote sustainable growth within the sector.
Noor Al Tamimi reaffirmed the Franchise’s commitment to empowering the sector as a catalyst for economic diversification and entrepreneurship. "The UAE spares no effort in providing enablers to achieve its economic vision. Our organisation will play a key role in advancing the franchise sector by implementing ambitious initiatives, including a flexible business framework that supports continued growth and prosperity," she said.
Al Tamimi also highlighted the importance of protecting intellectual property and raising awareness of franchising rights. Expanding the presence of Emirati brands locally and globally was another focus area discussed during the meeting.

Expanding partnerships and promoting franchising as a tool to strengthen entrepreneurs' presence were also emphasised.
