Emirates Franchise Unveils New Board And Corporate Identity To Support Entrepreneurs

The Emirates Association for Franchise Development (FAD) has marked its 10th anniversary by unveiling a new board of directors and introducing a fresh corporate identity, known as Emirates Franchise. This move underscores FAD's commitment to enhancing the UAE's commercial franchise sector and supporting entrepreneurs.

During the first edition of Abu Dhabi Business Week, hosted by ADCCI in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED) and Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), this announcement was made. The event highlighted the association's dedication to fostering business growth.

Emirates Franchise Launches New Board and Identity

Established by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) in 2014, Emirates Franchise aims to boost the local business ecosystem. It seeks to expand investment opportunities for entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This aligns with the UAE Centennial 2071 vision, which aims to position the country as a global hub for investment, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Noor Al Tamimi, ADCCI’s Board member and Chairperson of Emirates Franchise, leads the restructured Board of Directors. The board includes representatives from all seven Emirates: Maher Al Aleeli from Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mohamed Ahmed Amin Al-Awadi from Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), Ammar Al Aleeli from Umm Al Quwain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Aref Khalifa Al Mizki from Ras Al Khaimah Chamber, Sultan Jemei Al-Hindassi from Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Saleh Abdullah Lootah from Al Islami Foods Company.

Noor Al Tamimi stated, "The new board and identity for the Association is part of our ongoing efforts to create a sustainable and thriving business ecosystem in Abu Dhabi and the UAE. This enables entrepreneurs and ambitious business owners to adopt franchising as an effective tool for investment, growth, and expansion in today’s competitive business landscape."

Under its new identity, Emirates Franchise positions itself as a strategic partner in the franchise sector's success. By fostering a supportive business environment, it aims to empower brands through innovation and expansion. The association also focuses on strengthening partnerships with both local and international entities.

Empowering Brands Through Innovation

The association is committed to developing brand capacity for innovation, growth, and expansion. This ensures competitiveness while contributing to the UAE's economic goals. By providing guidance for entrepreneurs, Emirates Franchise supports sustainable investment opportunities within the franchise sector.

As Emirates Franchise continues its journey under a renewed identity, it remains dedicated to enhancing services for its members. The association's efforts are geared towards creating a diversified economy that thrives on innovation and entrepreneurship.
