The discussions centred on initiatives and strategic decisions aimed at enhancing the franchise ecosystem in the UAE, boosting its competitiveness both locally and globally.
Participants assessed the Association’s recent accomplishments and adopted new strategies to collaborate with government entities and the private sector. An executive plan was also developed to support entrepreneurs and businesses in using the franchise model as a key driver for growth and job creation.

Noor Al Tamimi, Chairwoman of the Emirates Franchise Association, expressed gratitude for the dedication shown by board members and partners from the chambers of commerce. She highlighted that future efforts will require increased institutional cooperation and an expanded network of partnerships.
"We are working to consolidate the UAE’s position as a leading regional centre for franchising through a clear regulatory framework, high-quality services for our members, and ongoing awareness and development programmes," Al Tamimi stated. "Our aim is for the Association to become a reference platform, contributing to investment stimulation, the empowerment of national companies, and the attraction of distinguished global brands, in line with the vision of our wise leadership."
The board approved a list of honorary members, focusing on providing tailored services and exclusive benefit packages to this esteemed group. Plans were also discussed to conduct individual consultations to better understand members’ expectations. This approach aims to broaden partnerships and enhance member engagement.
The meeting underscored the importance of creating a supportive environment for franchises in the UAE. By fostering collaboration between public and private sectors, the Association seeks to drive economic growth through franchising opportunities.
