Emirates Strengthens Commitment To Golf By Extending Partnership With DP World Tour Until 2031
Emirates has renewed its partnership with the DP World Tour, continuing as the Official Airline and Marketing Partner until 2031. This collaboration supports various international tournaments, culminating in the prestigious DP World Tour Championship in Dubai. The airline's involvement highlights Dubai's status as a prime destination for golfers and enthusiasts.
H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, expressed pride in their golf association. He stated, "We’re proud of our deep roots in golf, and of our role in boosting Dubai’s place as one of the world’s most sought-after destinations for top players and golfing enthusiasts with its world-class courses."

Throughout this extended partnership, Emirates will enjoy prominent branding visibility during the season. The airline will also have marketing opportunities across the Tour's media platforms. This includes access to premium hospitality services and exclusive Pro-Am experiences.
Guy Kinnings, CEO of the DP World Tour, praised Emirates' decision to extend their relationship. He commented, "Emirates are one of our longest serving partners and I am delighted that they have decided to extend our relationship until the end of the 2031 season."
The agreement ensures Emirates remains an Official Tournament Partner at 15 events each season on the DP World Tour calendar. This partnership allows Emirates to connect with golf fans worldwide through various campaigns that resonate with their global customer base.
The airline will continue sponsoring the Tour’s Virtual Eye feature. This provides year-round exposure through live television broadcasts and digital platforms like social media.
Digital Content Initiatives
The Emirates Fly Better Moments content strand will captivate fans by highlighting key on-course moments on the Tour's digital platforms. These snapshots aim to engage audiences by showcasing exciting developments during tournaments.
Kinnings further noted that this long-term agreement validates their strong partnership platform as a global golf tour. He added that Emirates' experience in sports sponsorship enhances their collaborative efforts.
This renewed commitment underscores Emirates' dedication to maintaining its connection with golf enthusiasts across continents including Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and especially in Dubai.
