Emirates Dermatology Society Conference 2024 To Feature Over 85 Expert Talks On Skin Health

The Emirates Dermatology Society is set to host its 8th Annual Conference at the InterContinental Dubai – Festival City Hotel starting on 8th November 2024. This event will bring together 500 professionals, including dermatologists, cosmetologists, and laser specialists from around the world.

Dr. Muna Al Murrawi, President of the Emirates Dermatology Society and Chair of the Conference, stated that over three days, attendees will engage in more than 85 expert-led discussions on dermatology and aesthetics. "The conference will also discuss hair and nail disorders, acne, skin cancer, women's health in dermatology, and the latest scientific findings in diseases and imbalances of hair and its transplantation," she noted.

The conference aims to cover a wide range of topics related to skin health. Discussions will include treatments for skin tumours and advancements in laser technology. These technologies are crucial for addressing issues like pigmentation, melasma, burn scars, birthmarks, varicose veins, tattoos, psoriasis, vitiligo, eczema, and various fungi.

Dr. Al Murrawi emphasised that this conference is the largest of its kind in the Middle East. It aims to boost awareness efforts and allow local medical professionals to learn about cutting-edge international practices backed by scientific evidence. The event also seeks to highlight significant success stories within this field.
