Emarat Grants Al Maryah Bank First Naming Rights For Fuel Stations
In a significant development within the UAE's business sector, Emirates General Petroleum Corporation (Emarat) has announced a groundbreaking partnership with Al Maryah Community Bank, a frontrunner in digital banking. This collaboration marks the first instance of naming rights being granted for a fuel station under Emarat's ambitious Project Landmark. This strategic alliance not only sets a new precedent in the industry but also showcases the confidence the business community places in Emarat's strategic initiatives.
Eng. Ali Khalifa Al Shamsi, Director-General of Emarat, expressed pride in this pioneering partnership, stating, "We're proud to partner with Al Maryah Community Bank, making it the first entity to secure naming rights to one of Emarat's fuel stations under Project Landmark. This move underscores the business community's confidence in Emarat's strategic approach. Moreover, it highlights the positive economic impact of this project and the unique opportunities it offers." He further emphasized that these opportunities are designed to empower companies and stakeholders to center their business and activities around customer needs.

Mohammed Wassim Khayata, CEO of Al Maryah Community Bank, shared his enthusiasm about this inaugural partnership with Emarat under Project Landmark. He remarked, "Al Maryah Community Bank is honoured to establish the inaugural strategic partnership with Emarat, becoming the first entity globally to secure naming rights for a fuel station." Khayata highlighted that this initiative is part of innovative strategies aimed at boosting the bank's visibility and enhancing customer experiences across fuel stations and affiliated stores.
The collaboration has also seen the launch of Al Maryah Community Bank's Mbank Wallet digital wallet services at Emarat stations. This service enables customers at Emarat stations to conduct safe and smooth contactless payment transactions post-refueling or when making purchases at FreshPlus station stores. The process involves a simple scan of the QR code at mobile payment counters using their smartphones, ensuring a seamless and fast transaction experience.
This partnership between Emarat and Al Maryah Community Bank under Project Landmark not only signifies a milestone in the UAE's digital banking and petroleum sectors but also sets a new standard for customer-centric business models.
