Education Interface Announces Landmark Success Of National Youth Finance Pioneers Programme For Emirati Youth

The National Youth Finance Pioneers (NYFP) programme, initiated by Education Interface in collaboration with First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) and supported by the Ministry of Education (MoE), has celebrated its first successful edition. Held under the patronage of H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, this initiative aims to empower Emirati youth to contribute significantly to the UAE's sustainable development.

The NYFP programme is a strategic effort to prepare young Emiratis for leadership roles in the future economy. It targets top-performing students in grades 11 and 12, aligning with the goals of Education Interface, FAB, and MoE in community empowerment and talent development. The programme combines academic enrichment with real-world banking experience.

Success of National Youth Finance Pioneers Programme

The selection process for NYFP was rigorous, starting with over 600 students nominated by the MoE based on academic excellence. Candidates underwent several evaluation stages, including an academic filter for those with averages above 95%, narrowing down to 400 candidates. Further assessments focused on leadership potential and interest in finance.

Participants were evaluated through various stages: leadership assessments, sectoral alignment evaluations, reviews of extracurricular achievements, and strategic essay-based evaluations. Ultimately, only 30 students were chosen for their exceptional academic intelligence and leadership qualities.

The NYFP is more than just training; it serves as a national platform for developing leaders who can shape the financial sector's future. By enhancing analytical skills and bridging education with job market realities, it supports the UAE’s vision of empowering youth as drivers of sustainable progress.

Dr. Mouza Saeed Al Badi, CEO of Education Interface, highlighted that this initiative results from collaboration under H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan's patronage. She emphasized that partnerships with national institutions demonstrate a shared commitment to empowering Emirati youth in crucial economic sectors.

Commitment to Youth Empowerment

Hana Al Rostamani, Group CEO at FAB, stated: "We remain steadfast in our commitment to the vision of our wise leadership to nurture Emirati talent in the financial and banking sector. Through this pioneering initiative... we aim to empower Emirati professionals with the skills and opportunities to play a vital role in the nation’s journey of progress, modernisation, and sustainable development."

Successful participants received certificates acknowledging their achievements and exclusive access to tailored training programmes at FAB branches near them. This initiative sets a benchmark for collaboration between public and private sectors while fostering youth involvement in building a competitive knowledge-based economy.
