EDGE To Debut Comprehensive Portfolio Of Advanced Defence Solutions At IDEF 2025 In Türkiye

EDGE, a prominent player in advanced technology and defence, is set to unveil its diverse portfolio at the International Defence Industry Fair 2025 (IDEF 2025) in Istanbul, Türkiye. This biennial event, scheduled from 22nd to 27th July 2025 at the Istanbul Expo Centre, will provide EDGE with an opportunity to demonstrate its expertise in modern security needs and expand its network of defence partners globally.

EDGE plans to display a wide array of cutting-edge systems and solutions. These include precision smart weapons, comprehensive air defence missile systems, and industry-leading naval platforms. The showcase will also feature mission-proven autonomous rotorcraft, electronic warfare systems, secure communication solutions, and critical explosive ordnance.

For naval forces focused on coastal and offshore protection, EDGE will present the 160 ITEP inshore tactical platform and the optionally unmanned 170 M-DETECTOR. Additionally, the FALAJ 3 patrol vessel and the robust FA-400 offshore patrol vessel will be highlighted for their state-of-the-art capabilities.

Among the precision smart weapons on display are the DESERT STING guided-glide weapons and the cost-effective THUNDER and RASH families of precision-guided munitions. The AL TARIQ long-range PGM, MANSUP anti-ship missile, and SHADOW loitering munitions will also be featured. In air defence, EDGE will showcase the SKYKNIGHT missile system designed for countering various threats.

Understanding modern aerial threats necessitates advanced air defence solutions. EDGE's SKYSHIELD C-UAS solution offers jamming capabilities as a fixed or mobile system. The TAWAQ-S and TAWAQ-X ground-based radars provide persistent surveillance and automated classification capabilities for precision interception.

Cybersecurity and Data Protection

EDGE is committed to providing organisations with top-tier data protection solutions. The KATIM GATEWAY data encryption platform will be showcased alongside other advanced cyber defence offerings. These solutions are designed to meet the latest cybersecurity demands effectively.

For those seeking superior electromagnetic spectrum control, EDGE presents the GPS PROTECT anti-jamming system. The BORDERSHIELD autonomous surveillance system enhances situational awareness. Additionally, MIRSAD-X multi-spectral imager and KASHIF electro-optic systems cater to UAVs and ground vehicles.

EDGE's participation at IDEF 2025 marks a significant step in its collaboration with Türkiye's defence sector. Since launching MALATH in 2023 to boost trade with Turkish companies, EDGE has formed strategic agreements focusing on joint development in smart weapons and enhancing aerial munitions supply chains.
