The Early Childhood Development Fair, held for the second time, attracted over 25,000 attendees to Umm Al Emarat Park. This event was part of Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Week and was organised with the National Academy for Childhood Development (NACD). The fair's theme, "Curiosity Can Take You Places," offered a variety of workshops and activities aimed at enhancing children's skills.
More than 50 interactive workshops were available, focusing on nurturing young minds. These included theatrical performances, panel discussions, and storytelling sessions. Special programmes were also designed for Children of Determination, aiming to improve their Arabic language skills while celebrating the UAE’s cultural heritage.

Sana Mohamed Suhail, Director-General of the ECA, highlighted the fair's role in connecting strategic partners with children. She stated, "The second edition of Early Childhood Development Fair provided strategic partners with an opportunity to interact with children, develop their abilities, and present them with valuable resources to support them during this critical stage of growth."
The event aimed to raise awareness about effective practices for healthy upbringing within families and communities. It sought to empower future generations to actively contribute towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. Suhail emphasised that supporting children in their early years lays a strong foundation for long-term social progress.
Dr. Meera Saeed AlKaabi from NACD remarked on the fair's success in promoting early development. She said, "The latest edition of Early Childhood Development Fair has been a tremendous success and has strengthened Abu Dhabi's standing as a global leader in promoting early development and empowerment of children."
The fair featured unique activities designed to help families understand how they can support their children's growth. By engaging with these initiatives, families could learn about practices that foster healthy development and prepare children for future challenges.
