EAHS Introduces New Award For Private Studs In The 2024-2025 Season With AED 3 Million Prize Pool
The Emirates Arabian Horse Society (EAHS), under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has introduced a new award for horses excelling in seasonal championships. This initiative targets four categories: fillies, mares, colts, and stallions. Horses placing from first to tenth in these categories will be eligible for the award. The aim is to recognise horses with the highest total points in both UAE and international competitions.
The prize fund for this award is AED3 million. However, each owner can only receive one prize, even if they have multiple winning horses across different categories. In each category, the top horse will earn AED150,000. Prizes for second to fifth places are set at AED120,000, AED100,000, AED70,000, and AED60,000 respectively. Horses finishing sixth to tenth will each receive AED50,000.

The EAHS emphasised that these awards are part of their ongoing efforts to support horse owners and breeders. By offering these prizes, they hope to inspire breeders to focus on improving the quality of Arabian horses. This initiative also aims to foster a competitive spirit among participants while preserving the rich heritage of Arabian horses.
In addition to monetary rewards for 40 winning horses across all categories, a commemorative shield will be presented to those achieving the highest points in each group. This gesture further acknowledges excellence in breeding and participation.
The EAHS's commitment is evident through this award scheme as it seeks to motivate breeders and owners alike. By recognising outstanding achievements in horse breeding and competition, they aim to enhance interest in Arabian horses globally while maintaining cultural traditions associated with them.
