Dubai World Trade Centre Plans Over 135 Major Events In H2 2025 To Attract Global Visitors

Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) has positioned Dubai as a leading global hub for events and business tourism, with a robust line-up of over 135 events scheduled for the last quarter of 2025. Spanning various sectors such as technology, healthcare, sustainability, and education, these events highlight DWTC's critical role in fostering innovation, commerce, and global collaboration.

Mahir Julfar, executive vice president at DWTC, highlighted the second half of 2025's agenda, featuring premier events like GITEX Global, WETEX, and Big 5 Global. Julfar underlined these events' role in bringing together influential figures to drive the future of the MICE industry.

DWTC to Host 135 Events in H2 2025

He stated, "Building on our strong performance in the first half of the year, we will continue to attract international event organisers, exhibitors, and visitors, along with globally renowned events across both established and high-growth industries in the second half of 2025. The upcoming line-up of flagship events such as GITEX Global, WETEX and Big 5 Global, showcase our ability to convene the world's most influential leaders, innovators, speakers, and key players to shape the future of the MICE industry."

Julfar also mentioned, "Through this dynamic calendar, we are reinforcing Dubai's role as a catalyst for global commerce while advancing the ambitions of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) to position Dubai among the top three economic cities in the world." This vision aligns with Dubai's ambition to become a top-tier global economic city, as outlined in the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33).

The events calendar for the remainder of 2025 kicks off in September with Paper Arabia, followed by entertainment events such as Comedy Mixtape 2025 and Matt Redman Live. September also hosts international gatherings like the Universal Postal Union Congress Dubai 2025, WHX Tech, and The Gulf Bride Show.

The month continues with a series of manufacturing trade shows and concludes with the Sign & Graphic Imaging ME Exhibition, Ru'ya Careers UAE, ArabLab+, Dubai Congress for Self-Driving Transport 2025, MEIDAM 2025, and WETEX.

October's agenda begins with the World Green Economy Summit and the Najah Exhibition. The month covers a broad spectrum of sectors from accessibility and agriculture to finance, with events like AccessAbilities Expo, AGRA Middle East, and The Forex Expo. Mid-October sees the return of GITEX Global, the largest tech event globally, followed by healthcare and HR-focused events, including The International Family Medicine Conference and Exhibition and HR Summit 2025. The month rounds off with BeautyWorld Middle East and Wellness & Spa Exhibition.

November introduces Gulfood Manufacturing, the leading F&B processing event in the region, and continues with educational and lifestyle exhibitions like GESS – Global Educational Supplies & Solutions and Paperworld Middle East & Gift & Lifestyle Middle East. The month also features the International Council of Museums conference, The Mining Show, and the Middle East Organic and Natural Products Expo, concluding with the Big 5 Global 2025 and related construction industry events.

In December, DWTC will host the 19th World Congress of Neurosurgery and Automechanika Dubai, the largest automotive aftermarket event in the region. The season concludes with trade shows including Asia Baby Children Maternity Exhibition and China Home Life, leading up to Jewellery & Bride Arabia, marking the end of DWTC's 2025 events calendar.
