Dubai Women Establishment Empowers Female Leaders With Comprehensive Protocol Training Programme
Under the guidance of H.H. Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Women Establishment (DWE) organised a protocol training programme for 20 female leaders from government and semi-government sectors in Dubai. This initiative is part of DWE's mission to empower Emirati women and boost their professional impact across various fields.
The three-day event, held from 22nd to 24th September, was conducted in partnership with The Protocol School of Washington (PSOW). It aimed to enhance participants' personal and professional skills, enabling them to represent their organisations with utmost professionalism both locally and internationally.

Naeema Ahli, CEO of Dubai Women Establishment, emphasised the programme's role in supporting female talent development. "At Dubai Women Establishment, we believe that empowerment goes beyond academic and professional qualifications," she stated. "It also includes strengthening women's social and cultural presence."
The training focused on instilling a culture of excellence rooted in institutional, diplomatic, and hospitality standards reflecting UAE traditions. Participants were equipped with refined communication skills, professional conduct strategies, and official correspondence techniques to navigate diverse situations confidently.
The programme covered essential protocol skills such as its definition and history, its significance as a leadership tool, concepts of honour in protocol, official titles and forms of address. Public speaking presence, personal diplomacy, dealing with dignitaries, and managing challenging situations were also included.
Pamela Eyring, President of PSOW, along with Mr Saeed Al-Salkhadi, Vice President of the school, delivered the training. They focused on enhancing participants' executive presence through these core skills.
Enhancing Professionalism
Naeema Ahli highlighted the importance of professionalism in interactions for setting leadership examples for colleagues and employees. She noted that effective communication training positively impacts work environments and boosts self-confidence when representing entities.
This specialised programme is part of DWE's broader initiatives to support Emirati women at various professional levels across all industries. It aligns with UAE's vision to support women across all sectors by preparing them for high-level professional and diplomatic environments.
The initiative aims to empower Emirati women to embody a distinguished image representing the nation with honour on both local and global platforms. By equipping them with these skills, DWE ensures they can excel in leadership roles within their respective fields.
