Dubai Taxi Company And Keeta Join Forces To Enhance Last-Mile Delivery Solutions In Dubai
Dubai Taxi Company (DTC) has formed a strategic alliance with Keeta, the international division of China's Meituan, to improve last-mile delivery services in Dubai. This collaboration aims to pioneer advanced logistics solutions. The agreement was signed at GITEX in Dubai by Mansoor Rahma Alfalasi, CEO of DTC, and Alex Wei, Logistics General Manager of Keeta Middle East.
The partnership aligns with DTC's strategy to expand its influence in transport and delivery markets, especially in the fast-growing e-commerce and Q-commerce sectors. This move will open new investment opportunities, strengthen commercial partnerships, and boost revenue potential. DTC plans to deploy 150 delivery motorbikes initially, scaling up to 500 by year-end.

This initiative is expected to generate over AED10 million in revenue within the first year. DTC's delivery bike segment has shown significant growth, with Q2 2025 revenues increasing by 102% year-on-year to AED18.2 million. This reflects DTC's ability to adapt to market demands and provide high-quality logistics solutions.
In addition to expanding its motorbike fleet, the partnership will explore high-tech delivery solutions. By leveraging Keeta's technology, both companies plan to integrate drones and autonomous vehicles into their logistics operations. This integration will be managed collaboratively between Keeta and DTC.
Mansoor Rahma Alfalasi stated, "At DTC, we continue to strengthen our mobility and logistics solutions in line with Dubai’s vision for a connected and sustainable future. The UAE’s delivery and logistics market is expanding rapidly, driven by booming e-commerce and on-demand services."
Research from Statista indicates that online food delivery revenues are projected to exceed AED5 billion by 2025. With a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of over 3%, this figure is expected to approach AED6 billion by 2030.
Strategic Market Positioning
Alfalasi added that DTC is capitalising on this growth through its expanding fleet of over 2,000 delivery bikes and advanced operational capabilities. Partnering with Keeta diversifies their services, maximises fleet potential, and positions DTC at the forefront of next-generation logistics technologies like drones and autonomous deliveries.
Alex Wei expressed pride in partnering with DTC: "We are proud to partner with Dubai Taxi Company to bring Keeta’s global delivery expertise and Meituan’s advanced logistics technologies to the UAE. This collaboration combines DTC’s strong local capabilities with our world-class innovation to build a smart, efficient, and sustainable delivery ecosystem."
Diversifying Offerings
The partnership represents another milestone in DTC's transformation journey as it broadens its offerings beyond passenger transport. By investing in future-ready mobility and logistics solutions, DTC aims to play a significant role in the evolving mobility landscape.
