Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed Celebrates Dubai T100 World Tour Final Success At Meydan Racecourse

H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, attended the Dubai T100 World Tour Final at Meydan Racecourse. He watched the men's professional race, which was a thrilling display of endurance sports. H.H. Sheikh Mansoor praised the participants for their dedication and performance in competing for the prestigious title.

The event highlighted Dubai's capability to host international events, reinforcing its status as a global hub for sporting excellence. H.H. Marten Van Riel from Belgium triumphed in the men's pro race, concluding a successful season with victories in San Francisco and Ibiza. He secured the World Title in Dubai with a time of 3 hours, 9 minutes, and 17 seconds. In the women's pro race, Taylor Knibb from America delivered an outstanding performance, winning both the race and overall series title.

Van Riel and Knibb received their World Title trophies from His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Hareb, Secretary General of Dubai Sports Council; Sam Renouf, CEO of Professional Triathletes Organisations; and Antonio Arimany, President of World Triathlon.

Before the elite men's race, over 3,400 age-group triathletes competed on the same course as their heroes in a 100km race. Athletes from 63 nationalities participated, cheered on by thousands of spectators at the venue and Race Village.

In the women's age-group category, Caroline Bridges from the UK claimed victory with a finish time of 04:02:27. Quentin Amaral, a UAE resident, won in the men's age-group category with a time of 03:25:46.

Event Atmosphere and Activities

The event also featured family-friendly entertainment at Meydan Racecourse's Race Village. Attendees enjoyed brand activations and live music alongside the races.

The success of these events underscores Dubai's commitment to fostering an inclusive sporting culture while showcasing its world-class facilities and organisational expertise.
