Strategic Partnerships Empower Local Talent In Dubai's Real Estate Sector
The Dubai Land Department (DLD), through its Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA), has recently forged strategic partnerships with leading real estate platforms Property Finder, Bayut Web Publishing, and Dubizzle. This collaboration is set to empower Emirati talents and elevate awareness within Dubai's real estate sector. The initiative is designed to foster an outstanding training environment, aiming to enhance service efficiency, customer satisfaction, and align services with the industry's best practices and standards.
The partnership agreements were signed during the ‘Tamkeen Real Estate Workshop’ held by DLD on 4 March. The event saw the presence of Eng. Marwan bin Ghalita, Acting Director General of Dubai Land Department, and representatives from various organizations including the Emirati Human Resources Development Council - Dubai, the Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation, the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (Nafis), Community Development Authority, and Emaar, among others.

Eng. Marwan bin Ghalita highlighted that empowering citizens in the real estate market is a key focus for DLD. This initiative aligns with Dubai’s Social Agenda 33 and Dubai’s Economic Agenda D33, aiming to integrate Emiratis into the private sector and significantly increase their participation. The partnerships with Property Finder, Bayut Web Publishing, and Dubizzle underscore DLD’s commitment to providing specialized training and development opportunities for citizens.
These collaborations are set to develop citizen competencies in the real estate sector and drive excellence. Newly licensed Emirati real estate agents will benefit from promoting their properties for free for the first year on platforms such as Property Finder, Bayut, and Dubizzle. Additionally, the agreements include plans to raise awareness among real estate investors, property owners, and stakeholders through comprehensive real estate knowledge dissemination.
Cherif Sleiman, Chief Revenue Officer at Property Finder, expressed pride in partnering with RERA. He emphasized Property Finder's commitment to nurturing UAE national talent in the real estate sector. Similarly, Haider Khan, CEO of Bayut and Dubizzle and Head of Dubizzle Group, shared his enthusiasm for the partnership with DLD. He highlighted the aim to create meaningful opportunities for local talent through comprehensive training via Bayut Academy and exclusive startup packages.
The agreements also focus on specialized training programs for citizens to support localisation efforts, facilitating their employment or entrepreneurship in the real estate sector. This includes organizing seminars, workshops, and conferences to address key issues within the market and advance smart and digital services in Dubai's real estate sector.
This strategic move by DLD through RERA with Property Finder, Bayut Web Publishing, and Dubizzle marks a significant step towards empowering Emirati talent in the real estate industry. It aims not only to enhance their skills but also to contribute positively to the growth and success of Dubai's dynamic real estate sector.
