Dubai Police And KHDA Join Forces To Enhance School Safety And Sustainability Initiatives

The Dubai Police and the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) in Dubai have formalised a partnership to improve the school education system. This collaboration aims to create a secure and sustainable learning environment through various initiatives. The Naseej initiative will address negative behaviours with educational programs, including military, sports, and awareness training. Additionally, the School Security initiative will focus on reviewing safety protocols to ensure a safe school environment.

Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, and Aisha Abdulla Miran, Director General of KHDA, signed the memorandum of understanding (MoU) at the Dubai Police Officers' Club. The signing ceremony was attended by several officials from both organisations. Lt. Gen. Al Marri expressed appreciation for the collaboration between Dubai Police and KHDA, emphasising their shared commitment to creating a safe educational environment that promotes positive behavioural values among students.

Collaboration for Safer Schools in Dubai

The MoU aims to unify efforts through programs designed to address behavioural issues and enhance the UAE's international standing in protection and education. Initiatives will be launched to train administrative and educational staff, reinforcing values of loyalty, belonging, national identity, and community spirit. This partnership reflects both parties' dedication to strengthening their cooperation in the educational sector.

Aisha Abdulla Miran stated, "We are pleased to continue our cooperation with Dubai Police and strengthen our partnership in various joint initiatives and programs related to the education sector in Dubai." She highlighted the importance of instilling positive behaviours within the educational community while enhancing Dubai's reputation as an international hub for high-quality education.

The agreement also aims to foster community spirit by generating suggestions aligned with both parties' methodologies. It includes organising events, activities, and competitions that promote cooperation. Sharing data and statistics related to program development is another key aspect of this collaboration. These efforts support Education Strategy 33's goals for ensuring a high quality of life for learners at every stage of their educational journey in Dubai.

Lt. Gen. Al Marri stressed that Dubai Police is committed to building constructive partnerships with all organisations to execute community programs aligning with government goals. These goals focus on enhancing quality of life, improving safety and security, and promoting community happiness.

Miran added that their commitment aligns with global standards supporting Education Strategy 33's objectives.
