Dubai Police Supports Global Education With AED 1 Million Donation To Mothers' Endowment

In a significant move that underscores the UAE's commitment to global humanitarian efforts, the Dubai Police have announced a generous contribution of AED 1 million to the Mothers’ Endowment campaign. This initiative, spearheaded by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, aims to establish a AED 1 billion endowment fund. The primary goal is to bolster education for millions across the globe, marking a notable stride towards sustainable support for underprivileged communities.

The campaign, which falls under the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), coincides with the holy month of Ramadan. It pays tribute to mothers by allowing donations in their names, furthering the cause of education and empowerment for those in need. Lieutenant-General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, lauded the initiative for reinforcing the UAE's position as a global leader in humanitarian efforts. He emphasized the campaign's role in promoting values such as respect for parents, kindness, and solidarity through sustainable projects.

Dubai Police's AED 1M for Education

"It is an honor to be part of this campaign and to support its objectives of sustainably supporting underprivileged individuals around the world, by providing the education and skills necessary for a better future," stated Lt. Gen. Al Marri. He further highlighted Dubai Police's commitment to social responsibility and their ongoing support for MBRGI's Ramadan campaigns, which align with the UAE community's noble values.

Remarkably, the Mothers’ Endowment campaign has already surpassed its initial target, raising a total of AED 1.484 billion before Ramadan's conclusion. This achievement underscores the widespread support and commitment to the cause from both institutions and individuals alike.

The campaign continues to accept donations through various channels, ensuring ease of access for contributors. These include the official website (Mothersfund.ae), a dedicated call center via toll-free number (800 9999), bank transfers to Emirates Islamic Bank (AE790340003708472909201), and SMS donations for Etisalat by e& users by sending "Mother" to specific numbers. Additionally, contributions can be made through the DubaiNow app under the "Donations" tab and Jood (Jood.ae), Dubai’s community contributions platform.

This initiative not only highlights the UAE's leading role in global humanitarian efforts but also sets a precedent for sustainable support through education. By empowering underprivileged individuals with necessary skills and knowledge, the campaign paves the way for a brighter future for millions worldwide.
