Dubai Police is hosting a three-day awareness exhibition at Festival City from 30th June to 2nd July. This event is organised in collaboration with Emirates Health Services, the Community Development Authority, and other key partners. The initiative aims to educate the public on drug abuse and its prevention.

The announcement was made during a press conference at the Dubai Police Officers Club. Brigadier Dr. Abdul Rahman Sharaf Al Maamari, Director of Hemaya International Centre, along with representatives from participating organisations, attended the event. They highlighted the importance of such initiatives in safeguarding communities.

Dubai Police Hosts Anti-Drug Awareness Exhibition

Brigadier Abdul Rahman Al Maamari emphasised Dubai Police's dedication to global events like the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. These events are crucial for raising awareness about drug-related dangers and educating the public. He stressed that this day offers an opportunity for officers to engage directly with citizens.

During the exhibition, officers specialising in drug awareness will interact with visitors. They aim to exchange ideas, address concerns from youth and parents, and formulate strategies for fostering a safe family environment free from harmful influences. This engagement is vital for community education.

Brigadier Al Maamari urged everyone to visit both the Dubai Police platform and those of other partners at Festival City. These platforms provide valuable insights and advice on drug prevention and rehabilitation efforts. The involvement of various partners enhances the effectiveness of these initiatives.

The General Department of Anti-Narcotics' partners play a significant role in supporting awareness campaigns and rehabilitation programs. Their contributions have been instrumental in helping individuals overcome addiction challenges and reintegrate into society as responsible citizens.

This exhibition underscores the collaborative effort between Dubai Police and its partners to combat drug abuse through education and community involvement. By engaging with the public, they aim to create a safer environment for all residents.
