Dubai Municipality Achieves Ten Prestigious Awards For Excellence In Q2 2025

Dubai Municipality has demonstrated its excellence in municipal and institutional sectors by winning 10 prestigious awards locally and internationally in the second quarter of 2025. These accolades highlight the Municipality's achievements in enhancing operational efficiency, digital transformation, risk management, sustainability, and workplace health and safety.

The Municipality's Robotic Process Automation (RPA) initiative, which supports smart city goals by improving procurement processes, earned top honours at the HBC International Awards by the Harvard Business Council. This initiative also received the Gold Award from the Noble Business Awards and was recognised by the Globee Awards for Technology.

Dubai Municipality Wins Ten Awards in Q2 2025

In risk management, Dubai Municipality's "Hair Dye Safety Assessment" initiative won first place in the 2025 IIRSM Awards for Excellence in Risk Management under Most Impactful Risk Research. This project aims to enhance consumer product safety significantly.

Dubai Municipality's commitment to digital innovation was further acknowledged with the UAE Innovates Award for Best Innovation in Streamlining Procedures. The Montaji platform, a pioneering digital system for registering and ensuring consumer product safety, secured this recognition.

The Construction Technology Confex Awards honoured Dubai Municipality with two significant accolades. Its Building Information Modeling (BIM) project was named Best BIM Organisation of the Year. Additionally, the Waste-to-Energy Centre in Warsan received the Sustainable Project of the Year award.

In institutional performance, Dubai Municipality achieved first place in Best Quality Team at the International Quality Awards. This was due to its "Development and Implementation of the Integrated Management System" initiative, which improved procedural efficiency and overall operational performance.

Community Engagement and Health Initiatives

The Sharjah Volunteer Award recognised Dubai Municipality's dedication to community engagement. It won first place in Government Entities – Volunteer Opportunities Creation category for its "An Hour with the Cleaning Engineer" initiative. Since 2017, this programme has attracted over 21,000 volunteers and more than 300 entities.

Dubai Municipality's focus on health and safety was widely acknowledged. It received the Rising Star Award from the U.S. National Safety Council (NSC) for a third time. This award honoured Engineer Mohamed Aldhanhani as one of the world's leading young safety advocates.

Occupational Safety Recognition

Engineer Sultan Aldahmani was commended for his pioneering initiatives in occupational safety at Dubai Municipality. The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) awarded Dubai Municipality a Silver Award as part of its 2025 Achievement Awards. This accolade recognised their integrated approach to occupational health through strategic planning and staff engagement.

The Municipality also achieved top honours for maintaining high health and safety standards on Dubai’s public beaches. These efforts ensure safe environments for both residents and visitors alike.
