Dubai Media Council Explores Strategic Partnerships With X Corp To Boost Digital Economy
Mona Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, recently met with Linda Yaccarino, CEO of X Corp., to discuss potential strategic partnerships. This meeting aligns with the directives of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, aiming to strengthen ties with leading digital media firms and support Dubai's ambition to lead in the digital economy.
During their conversation, Mona Al Marri highlighted Dubai's vibrant media environment, which hosts some of the world's top media and technology companies. She stressed the council's dedication to enhancing its collaboration with X, which opened its first Middle East and North Africa office in Dubai in 2015. "We are continuously seeking to deepen partnerships with global technology leaders to leverage media and digital platforms to support the influencer community and encourage the production of compelling content that connects with audiences worldwide," Al Marri said.

The meeting also focused on advancing media excellence and skill development, showcasing Dubai’s commitment to nurturing innovation and talent within the region's digital media sector. Discussions included opportunities for knowledge exchange, sharing best practices, and joint training initiatives aimed at boosting digital skills.
