Dubai Land Department and REACH Collaborate to Drive Real Estate Innovation

In a significant development for the real estate sector, Dubai Land Department (DLD) has joined forces with REACH, a globally recognized real estate technology accelerator backed by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).

This collaboration heralds the launch of REACH Middle East, a groundbreaking initiative designed to draw emerging proptech companies to Dubai and the broader region, fostering innovation within the real estate industry.

The partnership aligns with DLD's preparation to host PropTech Connect 2026, a premier global event focusing on real estate technology. This unique conference and exhibition will bring together leading industry figures, investors, and proptech innovators worldwide to discuss advanced digital solutions, including artificial intelligence, blockchain, and data analytics that are transforming the future of real estate on a global scale.

Partnership to Drive Real Estate Innovation in Dubai

Under this agreement, DLD commits to promoting the program through its media outlets, engaging with investors and potential partners, and offering regulatory advice to startups. DLD will also provide valuable data and insights into Dubai's real estate market and facilitate pilot programs within the emirate, allowing companies to test their innovations in real settings.

REACH will take charge of the program's operations, from selecting startups to providing mentorship, investment funding, and access to its extensive global network of investors and proptech experts. Furthermore, REACH will set up its regional office in Dubai with DLD's support, enhancing its regional footprint and attracting top talent and innovative technologies to Dubai's real estate market.

His Excellency Eng. Marwan Ahmed Bin Ghalita, Director General of DLD, emphasized the importance of this agreement, stating, "This agreement marks a new milestone in Dubai Land Department's journey to integrate technology and innovation into the real estate sector, in line with our leadership's vision to position Dubai as the world's top destination for real estate investment. We remain committed to supporting startups in this field and providing them with the right environment to thrive. This will drive the development of innovative and sustainable real estate solutions, further strengthening Dubai's global leadership in the sector."

Dave Garland and Tyler Thompson, Managing Partners of SCV and NAR REACH, highlighted the significance of strong partnerships in driving REACH's global success. "Our collaboration with DLD marks a significant milestone in bringing this vision to the Middle East. We are excited to work together to establish Dubai as a thriving hub for real estate innovation, attracting groundbreaking solutions and fostering a dynamic ecosystem for the future of the industry."

This partnership underscores DLD's dedication to embracing cutting-edge technologies and supporting startups, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of Dubai's real estate market and reinforcing its standing as one of the most advanced and sustainable real estate markets worldwide.

This initiative not only bolsters Dubai's position as a global real estate leader but also aligns with the Dubai Real Estate Strategy 2033, setting a new benchmark for innovation and sustainable development in the industry.
