Dubai Land Department Recognizes 166 Emirati Citizens for Completing Real Estate Brokers ProgrammeDubai Land Department recently honored 166 young Emirati citizens who successfully completed the Dubai Real Estate Brokers Programme. Launched earlier this year, the program is a key component of the Dubai Social Agenda 33. The recognition ceremony, held at Emirates Towers Boulevard, was attended by high-profile officials including Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Mattar Al Tayer, and Marwan bin Ghalita.Aligned with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, the Dubai Real Estate Brokers Programme aims to empower national competencies and contribute to the comprehensive development journey of Dubai. The program focuses on equipping Emirati talent with global skills and practices to strengthen their role in various sectors and enhance Dubai's position as a leading economic city.Mattar Al Tayer, Commissioner General for the Infrastructure, Urban Planning and Well-Being Pillar, praised the Dubai Land Department for its commitment to providing high-level training and empowerment for citizen brokers. He emphasized the importance of investing in human capital to improve employment, working conditions, education, and the economic environment. The program aligns with the goals of the Dubai Quality of Life Strategy and supports the 'Dubai Economic Agenda D33' and 'We the UAE 2031' vision.Marwan bin Ghalita, Acting Director General of Dubai Land Department, expressed his pleasure in recognizing a group of ambitious Emiratis who have shown dedication in enhancing their skills and expertise in real estate brokerage. Empowering national talent and providing them with the necessary tools to contribute effectively to development and construction is a top priority. The program aims to increase the percentage of citizen brokers to 15% over the next three years.The participants successfully completed three training courses offered by the New Economy Academy, making them the first graduates of the Dubai Real Estate Brokers Programme. The program seeks to maintain the role of citizen brokers in the growth and leadership of the real estate sector, a vital economic pillar of the emirate.During the ceremony, strategic alliance partners of the Dubai Real Estate Brokers Programme were also honored. The program now has a total of 28 developers, brokers, and technical partners for marketing support. Esteemed real estate development companies such as Emaar Properties, MAG, and Deyaar Development were recognized for their contributions.In addition, brokerage firms including Dejavu Real Estate Brokers and Harbor Real Estate were commended for their support. Technical partners for marketing support, such as Property Finder and Bayut & dubizzle, were also honored.The Dubai Real Estate Brokers Programme continues to offer specialized training opportunities and a stimulating environment for citizens to develop their skills and increase their participation in the real estate sector. The program remains open for more companies to join the strategic alliance, highlighting their crucial role in supporting Dubai's Social Agenda 33.
